Southside Moving and Storage Partners with National Non-Profit, Move For Hunger

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Southside Moving and Storage, a premier relocation company in Virginia Beach, has committed to fighting hunger in their community by partnering with the national hunger relief organization Move For Hunger. As part of their national network, Southside Moving and Storage joins Move For Hunger’s force of relocation companies: to date, they have delivered more than 7 million pounds of food – 6 million meals – to local food banks throughout the United States and Canada. Food insecurity affects nearly 50,000 people in Virginia Beach; 1 in 7 children in the city go to bed hungry each night. Southside Moving and Storage, who provides relocation services throughout the area, recognized the urgency of their neighbors’ needs and joined Move For Hunger to continue the fight against hunger and spread awareness of the growing need in Virginia and across North America.
